You gotta see it at least once when visiting Tampa. It's nicely laid out. The themes are cohesive. It was clean, no litter or grime. The day went it wasn't particularly crowded, so it was easy to get ...  more »

This zoo was amazing! All the animals were very active and the exhibits were nice and large. We loved the stingray tank and the staff members working there at that time. They were so friendly and were there to answer any questions about the stingrays. The restaurant was a little overpriced but nothing too crazy and all the staff members were friendly. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a fun outing for your family! They have a huge kid area with a splash pad, rides, and a petting zoo. I was thoroughly impressed and we will be returning on our next trip to Tampa!

Seeing the animals was absolutely amazing! It was awesome. However, there were a few problems. There wasn't much air conditioning. The water fountains were mostly out of order and if it did work it would only give out warm water. Also Dino Grille really smelled EXACTLY like vomit. I gagged so much and I couldn't take it.😝Otherwise, everything turned out fine! We had a good time! 😁

Liked it enough to get a yearly pass for my kids. Prices are not unreasonable and I have been able to bring water bottles in the past. They also have water fountains occasionally placed throughout. My daughters LOVED the kids play area; they have done renovations in the kids area since the last time I had been before getting my passes. The only thing that concerns me is the proximity of the petting zoo to the play area to the restaurant. Some animals do seem to be missing from certain exhibits quite often; however, being as that there is such a variety of animals to see, it has never been a problem (though you can get a little bummed out when it is one of the "cool" animals missing.) Overall, I would recommend this place. It's a great place to take your kids. Update, it's become over populated and parking is horrible. Bought a pass and almost a year has passed now. I've gone 3 times and have not made it into the park because there was people everywhere and no where to park. A waste of time and money.

Great place to go for the day. There is a lot to do and interact with. Animal feedings, featured animals and currently the Dino exhibit. Very clean and well kept. Staff is knowledgeable about the animals. They are working on a few areas, and hope to have them soon. I can't say what was my favorite, I liked it all!

Excellent place to visit for 3 years above kids! My daughter enjoyed kids rides, live dinosaurs, animals in zoo and a little one's roller coaster!! Nice attendants, they speak softly and double the ride if requested! Cool surroundings. Live dinosaurs are cool. Everything is enjoyable and kids will come out with HUGE smile so will parents!! 36" height is mandatory for kid to sit in rides!!
