  • Hands down one of the best natural attractions in the 40+ countries we have visited. It is a quick and gorgeous 2.5 hour drive south of Anchorage. The prices are affordable (we even became members) and the attractions are fantastic. The staff did a fantastic job catering to our young son. 10-stars!
  • this is a really wonderful place. very educational. they have interesting reading materials. the animals are unique and beautiful. the giant octopus was my favorite! you can touch it for 75$ lol no way. but I was impressed for sure.
  • As a local and former tour guide I just LOVE this place. They do such a good job with education and rehabilitation while maintaining a moral business model. They cover everything you need to know about Alaska marine and coastal life. I learn something new every time I go and always bring my friends and family here when they visit. All the staff are very helpful and willing to engage and converse.
  • Great aquarium but the staff at the touch aquarium area didn’t seem too pleased that I (a 21 year old with no child) wanted to partake and when I asked her a question about an anemone she was very short and quick with me.. So I left that room rather quickly.
  • Very nice aquarium with lots of local sea life for viewing. Great touch tank with lots of fun species's to touch. There are a lot of employees and volunteers to answer all types of questions, I found the personal to be very well educated on their area and willing to share information. Great customer service. Gift shop is less expensive then I would have expected. Wheelchairs available. Clean, nice restrooms. Overall, nice experience, but a little pricey. They do give a 10% AAA discount.
