  • A real beautiful park or area. It is a peaceful, serene place with lots of little trails to explore with nothing but views. A main sitting area with lots of chairs available in a cozy shaded setting. It is a buddhist temple type area, which I do not really understand, but we had a nice visit, and enjoyed the peace it offered.
  • So this was a recommended stop by a friend and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was so surprised how peaceful it is. Driving there was a bit of surprise too. You go through a residential neighborhood and then down a dirt road. There is plenty of parking and then you walk down a path to the buddha. There is a covered platform with chairs that you can sit and reflect on life. There are prayer flags in the trees and listening to them blow in the wind and was so calming. If sitting isn't your thing, you can tour the grounds or do a meditative walk around the buddha. I only stayed an hour, but I felt rejuvenated in that short time.
