  • We enjoyed the whole area. The statues make for an interesting read, and a great way to get some history of the island.  more »
  • View of the water and boats is breathtaking. Enjoyed the sun and breeze. Stop along the way for a drink.  more »
  • I think Key West is the cutest place in Florida and this square on the Sea comes alive at sunset and it is really a nice place to spend a couple of hours

  • HINT 1 : Get there early for sunset and remember, you want to be there well before "sunset" if you want good photos because you want to see it developing and it gets really busy as the sunset gets close. Hint 2 : I found parking easier in the Jimmy Buffet resort parking lot. (201 Front Street) Hint 3 : After sunset, go to the Island Welcome Center which is one of the entrances to the Square. Look for the trees near where the restrooms are. As it gets dark, the local roosters will make their way up into the trees. Fun to watch and get a few photos. Please give me a thumbs up if these hints were helpful or you agree! Malory Square is a place everyone should visit at least once. Great sunsets, watch the boats go by, lot of activity and the crowd response to the sunset is fun. There are a lot of street performers, if that is something you enjoy then this place is for you.
  • Great place to just hang out and watch the sunset. Terrific atmosphere, crowded but no pushing or angry people. Just a bunch of people from all over and of all types. Singing, dancing, juggling, acrobatics, smiling, laughing, crafts, drinks in coconuts always means a good time. Can't wait to visit again. Only negative thing was finding parking. We were very fortunate to find parking close to here, within 100'. Meter parking was kind of expensive but worth it to be so close.
  • Nice point to see sunset in key west.one of the best sunset point. However very crowded, make sure to reach early and grab a good position. Lot of street side food and drink, performance. Truly amazing way to celebrate the setting of sun.
  • Awesome place to visit when you are in key West. The performances are are incredible. If you love people watching, this is a place you could spend hours! The sunsets are a special experience while visiting the southern most key. Be sure to check this place out during sunset hours.
  • Five star sunsets. Enjoyable atmosphere. Many vendors throughout and eating or drinking options. A couple of street shows along the water front area. Crowded a bit during dusk hours but lively and great time for a night out in Key West. Bring a camara for plenty photograph opportunities.

Where to stay in Key West

To explore the best of what Key West has to offer on foot, stay near Old Town, a picturesque neighborhood famous for its streets lined with tropical trees and gardens. Most hotels in this area feature rooftop decks, where you can meet friends for cocktails and enjoy ocean views at sunset. If you don't mind driving to where most of the action is, consider staying at a budget-priced inn or bed and breakfast on the eastern end of the island.
