St Dunstan's Stepney has been a place of prayer and witness at the heart of the community of Stepney for over a thousand years. It is one of the oldest churches in east London and dates from the 10th Century. Throughout the history of the community there has been a deep commitment to strong worship, effective witness and openness to God's call and mission for the Church.

Today St Dunstan's is a lively Church of England community of faith where a variety of people from many walks of life join together for prayer, worship, fellowship and explore together what it means to be the people of God in this place.

  • Beautiful but dark church, worth a visit, make sure you check the opening times before you go.
  • Lovely historic Church of the High Seas. My family have been living locally and worshipping here for a century. Lots of stories here, as its history stretches back beyond the Norman conquest. Wonderful.
