  • Very interesting building designed by Indigo Jones for Anne of Denmark, queen of king James I. Apparently the first British classical building in the country. The building is a very nice (free) stop on the way to the viewpoint. The exhibitions are mainly about the residents throughout the years and the functions of the house.
  • Wonderful staff, beautiful place. Not appropriate with little children as sounds echo galore! Hence i had to make a quick exit, didnt want to ruin the experience for others.
