  • The gorgeous garden at Lambeth Palace is open from May until September on the first Friday of each month. Make sure you visit. It's like being behind the scenes at a secret location. If you are lucky the chapel and library might be open. It's such as pretty place to explore and a real pleasure. The Garden Museum is next door which has a very good restaurant.
  • Some of the clergy would do well to reflect on whether humanity was made for the Sabbath or the Sabbath for humanity. This is a surprisingly small and modest building to be called a palace . Don't get me wrong its a hell of a lot better than a council flat but when you compare it to the Vatican , well , the Archbishop must be a sick as a parrot .
