Charles Dickens Museum Reviews
Was happy to visit this charming museum Jan 2020. A great way to spend a few hours with Oliver Twist and Scrooge. They also have a dear cafe for tea. more »
The exhibition of the collections of Charles Dickens were amazing however we are not the fan of him. Just found the place was quite small, narrow but there were lot of people in such a small room... more »
Wonderful place! Full of the charm of the epoch and of course, full of Dickens. It's like he's just been there but left for a walk, and will come back shortly. I visited just an hour before closing and enjoyed an almost private visit, there was just an elderly couple and a family of 3 with me. And the woman who works there (unfortunately I don't Know her name), told us lots of things about Dickens and his life, as well as his work, you could see she was passionate about the writer. I really appreciated it!
Wonderful staff, stunning house full of charm and amazingly preserved history. Seeing Dicken's writing desk was so special. The tea room and garden are beautiful. We loved everything and will be returning.
