Burgh House & Hampstead Museum Reviews
I found this little museum by chance whilst walking through Hampstead. I was made very welcome by the lady on the door, who gave me a potted history of the house. Although the museum contains a lot... more »
Thank you so much to Victor and Burgh House for making our wedding such a memorable day for us. I didn’t worry about anything as I knew I could trust you to keep everything in line and I wasn’t... more »
Very nice place, comfortable and the staff is very polite, either Catherine and Mark Me and my girlfriend intend to do our wedding there, so far we went to visit the place and we had a coffee. We enjoyed the place a lot, super recommend to visit it. Has a nice coffee place and a museum about Hampstead that we didn't had the change to visit, but further on we will. They also organise events there and they rent their spaces. Its a lovely historic house.
A nice lady introduced us to the museum and gave us a brief history. The museum space is very interesting with lots of artwork and artefacts. The building has a very varied history with lots to learn. It is well organised with lots of captions. There is a sculpting and textile artwork exhibition in one area and the artist was present to explain about it - excellent! The grounds are beautiful with a nice cafe and lots of little nooks and crannies with tables, chairs and blankets. They provide you with a free leaflet explaining about current exhibitions and events. Beautiful!
