Ambassadors Theatre Reviews
Nice intimate old theatre in need of a refurb. We sat in the balcony with good raking but old fashioned seats with not much leg room. Bar area very small. more »
Poor theatre production. Was not scared at all. Dont believe all the hype. A few loud noises and 'scary'? characters. Most of the audience looked bored stiff. As a regular theatre visitor of all... more »
We came to see Adrian Mole The Musical Exclamation Mark. Except it doesn't have an exclamation mark. Very daring. The play was wonderful. Very funny and enthusiastically performed. The theatre was beautiful. Not great for accessibility though. Not even a ramp for the small step into the foyer. The staff were very helpful and my partner, who's in an electric wheelchair was allowed to use the ground-level toilets in St Martin's Theatre next door. We booked online and was recommended row F to sit in. This was good as it was level with the entrance into the upper circle and had double the leg room than a normal row. There were about five or six steps up to it though from the foyer which my partner had to manage with. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with their assistance. Drinks were expensive.
Nice theatre, but classically "old style" seats meant for people who sit at 90 degree angles. I wish the West End would renovate with more comfortable seating!
