Rye is a small town in the non-metropolitan county of East Sussex, within the historic County of Sussex, England, which stands approximately two miles from the open sea and is at the confluence of three rivers: the Rother, the Tillingham and the Brede. Kick off your visit on the 29th (Fri): identify plant and animal life at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, then identify plant and animal life at The Hawking Centre, and then look for all kinds of wild species at The Big Cat Sanctuary. Keep things going the next day: step into the grandiose world of Dover Castle.
