Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
Take a break from the city and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Do some cultural sightseeing at French Quarter and The National WWII Museum. Explore New Orleans' surroundings by going to Nottoway Plantation (in White Castle) and Oak Alley Plantation (in Vacherie).
