Located on the Mozambican side of Lake Malawi, Likoma Island holds plenty of allure with giant baobabs and sweeping views of the wild coast.
On the 2nd (Sat), pause for some serene contemplation at St. Peter's Cathedral. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Sun): take in nature's colorful creations at Ulisa Gardens and then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

The capital city of Malawi and its largest, Lilongwe serves as an important center of economy and transportation for the area.
Visiting Lilongwe Wildlife Centre and Nature Sanctuary will get you outdoors. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Chongoni Rock-Art Area and Kungoni Centre of Culture & Art. Step out of Lilongwe to go to Salima and see Kuti Wildlife Reserve, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. Next up on the itinerary: take in the awesome beauty at Nkhoma Mountain, ponder the world of politics at Parliament Building, look for all kinds of wild species at Mwabvi Game Reserve, and admire the natural beauty at National Herbarium And Botanic Gardens Of Malawi.

As Malawi's second-largest city, Blantyre represents the country's main commercial and industrial hub and boasts a dynamic array of food options.
Get some cultural insight at St.Michael's and All Angels Church and La Caverna Art Gallery. Get outdoors at Mount Mulanje and Majete Wildlife Reserve.
