Art in Paradise, Pattaya

4.4
#1 of 7 in Museums in Pattaya
Put yourself into a work of art at Art in Paradise, a gallery featuring more than 130 pieces of interactive illusion art. Trompe-l'œil and other perspective tricks are used to turn flat paintings into 3-D dioramas into which you can place yourself, becoming part of the artwork itself. Stand on the precipice of a volcanic chasm, interact with the subjects of a famous painting, face down a leap tiger, and more. Don't forget to bring a camera to capture your moment as a work of art. • Best place if you wanna take lots of pics and also you can learn a bit about Thai Culture here particularly near the Exit area. The entry ticket is 500 Baht and you can expect many chinese people inside. This is the best place if you are looking for a place to hang out with your family and have fun. A cafe is also there inside to purchase pasties, juice, ice creams etc.
  • Pretty nice experience here. It's basically a walk-in-and-over art paintings with optical illusions. Little bit of educational texts. Funny illusions in many details like the toiletry icons. Great for kids and taking pictures, but not as interactive as advertised. Spent about 45 minutes here, but with a group/family this can easily be a longer time. 400 Baht for foreigners, 200 Baht for Thai. Recommended to go here during a quiet time.
  • I went to Art in Paradise both in Bangkok and Pattaya. Both are really good. I cannot really differentiate between these two. If you have never been to any 3D art place you should definitely check this place. They could improve the marking and direction regarding from where and how to take picture.
  • A really must visit place in Pattaya. The paintings on the walls and floors are amazing. They're done in a way that they reflect a 3-D vision in your camera so you can do really cool poses and have fun with it.
  • It's an awesome museum. All age group can enjoy the art. Having the best collection of 3D art painting I've ever seen.
