Ko Rang, Ko Chang

#2 of 9 in Nature in Ko Chang
Island · Nature / Park
Despite offering only a handful of usable beaches, the rocky island of Ko Rang has nevertheless become a hit with tourists for its spectacular scenery. Largely undeveloped, the island embraces its natural beauty, and a small Buddhist shrine dedicated to fertility represents one its few man-made attractions. Enjoy the views of interesting rock formations and the water surrounding the island, which is so colorful it almost glows. PutKo Rang into our Ko Mak journey planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Ko Rang is relatively far from Ko Chang but if you intend to stay at Ko Mak or visit it then you have to stop at Ko Rang. Actually I don't think any available boat trip would skip it. We did some...  more »
  • You will most likely visit Ko Rang when you make a four or five island tour which includes snorkeling. Unfortunately many tourists do similar tours and therefore the beaches and reefs are populated with other boats and many tourists. Therefore this little paradise feels less like a paradise. Still the water is clear, the beaches are clean and there are plenty of colorful fish around the reefs. Go to paradise as long as it still exists.
  • The Marine park so beautiful place nice for Discover under water world
