  • I often hear people say "you haven't been to Baguio if you have not set foot at the Philippine Military Academy". As for me, Baguio is my home place and the PMA has been part of my life and career. I have been covering and making arrangements for media coverage in the mid "80s and I was near the grandstand when rebels planted a bomb that damaged it injuring several civilians and military personnel in 1987. Today, I am till very much connected with the academy as me and my wife are foster parents to scores of cadets since 2003.
  • Very nice place to visit and have an encounter with the cadets, the future officers of the AFP. The cadets perform the Silent Drill every Sunday morning, you'll get to see how the stiff and unsmiling cadets loosen up dance to the beat. They also have parades every saturday morning. And in case that you will visit PMA in December, check what date will they have the 100 Night Show, it is a showcase of different talents wherein the performers are all cadets. They are very very talented. The place has also a lot of spots for photo-ops.
