Garden · Park
Spot remarkable blue lizards as you stroll along winding paths at Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. Take the trail that circumnavigates the park and keep an eye out for rare, striking blue iguanas, who wander through the gardens in all their iridescent glory. Almost extinct 20 years ago, the iguanas now thrive in the gardens thanks to a project to restore their population to safe numbers. As you meander through the colorful gardens, stop at the lake to admire rare aquatic birds, native to the region. After all that, grab some refreshments at the tea rooms and take in the wonderful park views.
