Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, Great Exuma

Since 1958, the mangrove haven of Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park has remained a protected park with a strictly "take only photographs, leave only footprints" policy. The tropical location showcases floating epiphytic orchids and magenta bromeliads, while Bahamian hutia rodents are the only native terrestrial mammals. A number of sea birds fly overhead, and many colorful Stromatolite reefs and schools of fish can be found just off shore. See the swimming pigs, feed nurse sharks, and snorkel or scuba dive to take in the protected marine community here.
